A small yet bustling town with colorful shophouses, China Town (Kuala Terengganu) used to be one of the earliest Chinese settlements in Southeast Asia. A traditional manifestation, there are historic townhouses, ancestral homes, and business establishments along the roads of this town. Once a commercial activity hub, the Chinese community was the first to establish this settlement in the late 19th century.
