Thean Hou Temple is also known as the Temple of the Goddess of Heaven. Bright lanterns ornate this six-tiered Buddhist temple along with intricate motif details. Plus, the panoramic view from the top makes it a rewarding trip for visitors.
It’s not very nice to look, but walking on a walk ingested a different house and sea view is more interesting than the different, and it’s worth a walk. If it wasn’t for the businesses that were at night but the people who really lived here, I’m afraid it would be overwhelming.
I visited the Chew Jetty expecting to see something of the history of jetty life. I was a little underwhelmed. Lots of shops selling bits and pieces for tourists. No great views or cultural insights
